Reveal · Week 4–6

Day 30: you made it

The surface is healed. From here it’s sunscreen and patience while the deeper skin settles. If there are patchy or light spots, take a photo and ask your artist about a touch-up after the 6-week mark. Many shops include one free touch-up if you followed aftercare.

What to do today

  • Mineral SPF from now on, every time it sees sun
  • Message your artist about a touch-up if needed (after week 6)
  • See how the style holds up long-term in the aging simulator

Normal in the reveal stage

The waxy layer finishes shedding and real healed saturation comes through. The deeper skin keeps settling for months, but the surface is done.

  • Colors coming back as the haze clears
  • Smooth, non-shiny skin
  • Fine lines still tightening over the coming months

Care for this stage

  • Mineral sunscreen whenever the tattoo sees sun
  • Note any patchy spots for a touch-up after week 6
  • Keep moisturizing if the skin feels dry
