ReviewTattoo is a small independent site for the person walking into their first (or fifteenth) appointment: what it costs, what it feels like, which style ages how, and what to actually put on it afterwards.

We started it because first-timers get buried in contradictory advice: half of it three-decade-old shop lore, half of it sponsored "top 10" lists that rank by commission tier. So we explain the trade-offs in plain language, link the medical points to their sources, and tell you when the cheap option is genuinely fine.

Our product reviews are research roundups, not lab reports. They're built from the ingredient list, what the manufacturer claims, and published guidance from dermatologists and regulators. We haven't run controlled tests on our own skin, and we won't pretend we have. If that ever changes, the guide in question will say exactly what was tested and show the evidence.

The site earns money through affiliate links: when you buy a product we recommend, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That only works if the recommendations stay trustworthy, so rankings are never for sale and a higher commission never beats a better or cheaper product.
